US considers allowing mobile phone use on planes - Telegraph

In a survey of 1,600 US adults cited by the Federal Aviation Administration(FAA), 51 per cent of respondents expressed negative reactions to in-flightphone calls and 47 per cent responded positively.

Many US airlines already offer onboard Wi-Fi, and could allow their passengersto make in-flight phone calls using programs such as Google Voice and Skype.However, virtually all US airlines ban the technology, because they saytheir customers don't want in-flight calls.

Last month the FAA announced that passengers on US airlines will be allowedto use portable electronic devices during take-off and landing for thefirst time, ending an "archaic" 50-year-old ban that has longfrustrated frequent fliers.

Under the new guidelines, gadgets such as smartphones, iPads, DVD players andvideo game consoles can be operated for the entire duration of both domesticand international flights.

Then, slowly glide down getting the chest towards the ground and become serpentine, thereby getting into Bhujangasan. Your spine at this position is arched; bum is low, shoulders high and elbows straight, pelvic bone touches the floor. Then simply reverse the position and glide out. Now, push yourself out and become a mountain again."

Talking about the benefits of this exercise, he states that this activity helps to open up one's spine, strengthen the shoulder, palms, chest, back, and puts stress on the stomach and stretches hamstrings. It is good for circulation, he adds. Experts say that simple stretching exercises can add up to three inches to your child's height.

Tadasana or the Mountain Pose

This is a relatively simple yoga pose and you can teach your child to do it easily. The Tadasana is an ideal way to lengthen the spine and grow taller.

Stand straight with your feet together and big toes touching. Now, slowly lift and spread your toes and the balls of your feet so that your weight is balanced evenly on both feet.

Next, without hardening your belly, flex your thighs and lift your knee caps, then slowly raise your arms above your head.

Simultaneously, raise your whole body upwards, elevating yourself to the tips of your toes. Press your shoulder blades back so that you do not have to tighten your belly.

Feel the stretch in your whole body and remain in that stretched position for a minute or at least 40 seconds.

Go for yoga

Enroll your child into a yoga class. Yoga asanas can be very beneficial to your children and some yoga poses that involve stretching the body can make them grow taller.

Doing the Surya Namaskar, the Adho Mukha Syanasana, Sukhasana, Chakrasana, Bhujangasana, Tadasana etc can increase a child's height.
